With Munich-based producer Nicolas Sierig and gay buddies such as Owen Pallett and the Pet Shop Boys (string arrangements and remixes), Berlin-based Canadian and Hidden Cameras mastermind Joel Gibb has created an enchanting electric body music homage on the latest Hidden Cameras album, Bronto, which references both queer pioneers (Patrick Cowley, Arthur Russell) and straight button pushers (Kraftwerk, Vangelis).

The former cantina to the left of the entrance of Berghain is a venue for concerts and parties, plus the lovely Bierhof Rüdersdorf beer garden during the summer. Paint peeling from the ceiling is part of its charm, along with old leather armchairs and cinema seating for chilling. The fireplace outside provides cozy warmth during the cooler months. The program spans techno nights to live bands on tour.
