As part of the queer-feminist festival

Elise and Sarah, both born in the 90s, delve into, rummage through, and distort their respective childhoods to unravel their threads and create their own mythology of love. Armed with curiosity and a touch of madness, they embark on a fearless journey into their inner selves. Their writing companions are Carmen Maria Machado with her reflections on merging love affairs and violence in same-sex relationships; Yann Andréa with texts about his consuming love for Marguerite Duras; and Dorothy Allison and her thoughts on the origins of desire. They weave a complex tapestry of autofiction and a grand, conscious dream that stretches from Lyon to Grenoble, from Forks to Transylvania. Their stories intertwine into parallel chronologies, lives they wish they had lived, and others they long to unravel. Always in the background, the question lingers: How can they be sure they'll end up on the same beach together?
