Ein avantgardistisches, queer-feministisches Musical
At the heart of the story is Momo, the first anthropomorphized egg. Subject to the whims of his oppressors, he realizes that—despite eggs and humans living peacefully side by side—the rights of eggs are severely restricted; there is neither certification from the mother hen nor official registration. But then, a group of radical egg activists draws Momo right into their hard-boiled midst. The Egg Rights Movement is at the boiling point—or so Ringtheater describes the piece.
It continues: Bursting with queer desire and spiced with Far Eastern influences, performer Ko Kazu unleashes a sexually charged attack on the political Right. Momo’s story recounts an emotional class struggle played out between good intentions and sordid power dynamics. On his journey, he not only discovers his true self but also arrives at realms of unimagined queer science. This music-theater production blends 3D animation, humorous storytelling, and live music. "Immerse yourself in the fluid biology of these marginalized eggs."
