Tschaikowsky mit dem Sinfonie Orchester Berlin
- Mar 7, 2026, 8:00 PM
- Berliner Philharmonie
It may not be the city's most prestigious orchestra, but conductor Andreas Wittmann will be performing two of the gay star composer's greatest hits from Russia: Tchaikovsky's “Romeo and Juliet” fantasy overture and his Symphony No. 5 in E minor. This will be accompanied by Henryk Wieniawski's violin concerto. The whole thing is billed as a “Romantic Concert for Women's Day,” which is somewhat surprising given the soloists and the program.
Tschaikowsky: Romeo und Julia; Wieniawski Violinkonzert Nr. 2 d-Moll op. 22; Tschaikowsky Symphonie Nr. 5 e-Moll op. 64
