Prometheus is confused. Like many young people, he asks himself: Who or what defines me? What does my existence mean in relation to the world around me? What drives me to either preserve existing orders or seek to break them apart? He encounters Gaia, who reminds him that the world’s resources are finite. Driven by his own values, he constantly strives to do "the right thing," bringing him into conflict with the ruler Cronus. Together with Zeus, Prometheus completely upends the order of the Titan galaxy. Both fight for their own vision of a good world. But what is a good world? What is the right thing to do? Greek mythology tells us a great deal about relationships. The play draws on Franz Fühmann’s *Prometheus – Die Titanenschlacht* (Prometheus – The Battle of the Titans). Inspired by drag culture, it establishes a connection to the present day through elements such as video projections.
