In Berlin during the wild 1980s, female musicians came together to found a women's music center and build their own networks. Amidst noise and enthusiasm, both beginners and professionals played and practiced. Over the years, around 80 women's bands emerged in Berlin and beyond, as well as numerous women's music festivals and initiatives. The exhibition brings this intense period of change to life.
