The exhibition features iconic series as well as previously unpublished photographs and offers an overview of more than five decades of Graciela Iturbide's work. Among other things, it documents Mexican culture and highlights the role of women, for example in the Zapotec communities in Juchitán, Oaxaca, where women hold positions of power and stereotypical gender roles are broken down.
