What’s going on, where are the big demos for International Women’s Day? The lectures, panel discussions, political events? Yes, they still exist, but you have to look hard, because on Women’s Day itself (Mar. 8), there’s not that much going on. But there is some action in central Kreuzberg: After a demo through the neighborhood (18:00 at Kottbusser Tor), Südblock welcomes you to their gala with emancipatory cabaret. Then at 22:00, together with Möbel Olfe across the way, the Block-Olfe barhopping party begins. If you want to go to the main demonstration, better get your banner ready early because it happens on Mar. 6 already, starting at 12:00 at Rosa-Luxemburg-Platz in Mitte.
