Tonight is the launch of “The Long Way to Equality“, a five-part event series aiming to shed light on the lived realities of lesbians around the world, taking  place on the last Monday of each month. Issues such as identity, visibility, legal situations, discrimination and violence will be critically unpacked, specific to different regions. The series will evaluate the living conditions for lesbians in Russia, Brazil and Turkey. At tonight’s first edition, publicist Beata Kozak (pictured) will explain the situation in her native Poland.
