This year Pride Season has multiple parades to offer. The Stern-Demo kicks it all off with three separate routes each with different focal points. East Pride starts at Gethsemane Church in Prenzlauer Berg. Here the common experiences of LGBTIQ* people who grew up in socialist or post-socialist societies are brought to the fore. The Queerschutz Now! leg starts on Hermannplatz in Neukölln with a focus on the troubled situation of LGBTIQ* infrastructure and the situation in the T*-Community. QTIBiPoC United starts on Oranienplatz in Kreuzberg. This protest takes up feminist issues, the racism debate within the community and the situation of trans- and intersexuality and people who define themselves as non-binary.
