Leonard Bernsteins Geisterballett „Dybbuk“

Classical concert with Kent Nagano
The DSO (German Symphony Orchestra) has programmed the little-known ghost ballet Dybbuk—about possession and love—by the gay American composer Leonard Bernstein. Bernstein created it in 1974 together with the equally gay choreographer Jerome Robbins, his former West Side Story collaborator. In this "Casual Concert" featuring DJ Tereza, a live performance by The SWAG, and an afterparty in the lounge, Kent Nagano conducts and also provides context for the piece.
The concert is repeated on May 1, with added music by Wagner and Dvořák (Vorspiel and Liebestod from „Tristan und Isolde“ as well as „The Noon Witch“).
