As part of the 2026 poetry festival, the rising star of Polish poetry, Stanisław Kalina Jaglarz, will appear at the Atelier space of Silent Green. He is considered one of the most important queer voices in his country.

In this poetry talk, Jaglarz will read from previously unpublished poems—texts about an angrily caressed emptiness, spoken from an “inflicted wound,” as well as poems about the time of transition: “when I gave myself a name like a desperate Adam, I discovered the correlation of words and the ability of letters to merge into coral.” The poems have been specially translated for the Poesiefestival Berlin.

The event will be interpreted between Polish and German.
